Beckman Construction specializes in helping you plan the design, specification and construction of your custom home. We encourage you to reach out to us early in the process so that we can help solidify your ideas in advance. Matt and Ashley pair your ideas with our unique process to ensure your build goes smoothly.
Building a custom home offers almost limitless options. Beckman Construction uses your inspiration and guides your choices to ensure that you stay within budget while achieving your desired look and feel.
What your build will be like

INITIAL CONTACT
Whether someone refers you to us or you have found us on your own, the first step is that we want to get to know you. We will schedule a time to meet and talk with you. This allows us to discuss your project, timeline and overall budget. We will have you answer a series of questions to make sure that we understand what your dream home looks and feels like. Once you have met with Matt and Ashley and have had a detailed conversation, we will work together to start the design and specification portion of the build.

DESIGN AND SPECIFICATION
Approximately 6-9 months prior to breaking ground on your home, the design process will begin. We will determine general floor plan and architectural features. Through this phase, Ashley will work with you to select all finishes and materials to ensure that your ideal home is brought to life. You will get to envision your home through 3d renderings that Beckman Construction creates of your build and selections. At this time, we ask that pre-approval and land acquisition is complete.

CONTRACTS AND LENDING
Groundbreaking is getting closer. 60-90 days prior to groundbreaking, we will work with you to finalize the Construction Agreement, including all Designs and Specifications. There are lots of moving parts at this stage. We are here to assist with questions as you finalize Appraisals, Underwriting, Title Work and Closing.

YOUR BUILD BEGINS
Groundbreaking is an exciting time for homeowners. The dreams start to take shape and you can see the fruit of the past few months. Once your build begins, weekly scheduled updates will be communicated to ensure you know where the build is in process. This eliminates surprises and keeps the build moving on schedule. As Matt and the team finishes our punch list, we do a final walk through with you to wrap up final details.
And then
the moment you have been waiting for… you get to move in.
